why is my engine light on?

why is my engine light on?

basically there are no cats on my truck and i was told that i would get 2 codes on my edge and i did. the codes are p2270 bank stuck lean h2os and p2272 bank stuck lean h2os. my question is are these normal codes? what can i do to get rid of them, the gotts o2 mod? thankyou

I'm not an expert on this, but I think you are going to find that you need the rear sensors in place. I think it is kind of like if you remove brake pads on one side of the front, you are going to have it pulling. It is a consequense of what you have removed.

ok so its because of me having no cats? is it safe to drive with these codes?

well i bought the truck like this (kind of dumb) but i think your right.. ill have to see where i can put the sensors with the long tubes..

Your always going to have this unless you get cats the o2 sensors read before and after, so unless e gotta o2 mods tricks or fools the system.

When I removed my cats, I unplugged the rear sensors and tuned it. No problems.
