alrighty maybe and i hope someone has done this or at least knows if it can be done. Well i know alot about exhaust I've been best friends with a shop owner for over 6 years i have learned a thing or two. I thought as well as the owner that the shorty headers that are sold for the 4.6's are pretty much worthless unless your running 4000rpm+. Im looking for a different sound also. So i did some searching and happen to find a set of long tube headers form pacesetter for very cheap. Theres only one problem, They claim they will only fit the 4wd not the 2wd. Ok I understand I guess, but here is what gets me. Got to looking and emailed them and they said it would also fit 2 or 4wd 5.4. I do know you could do this when the 4.6/5.4 where 2v. Im talking about a set for the 4.6 2v will also fit a 5.4 3v, and unless i missed something i dont believe they will. Even if they did, your telling me basically the long tubes will fit everything but a 4.6 2wd? All i want to do is make sure it mounts to the block and clears all, In the event your installing headers, whats that much different on a 2wd then a 4wd that they wont interchange with each other?
