4.2L V6 exhaust suggestions

I've got a 2007 stx with a 4.2l v6 that I'm putting some work into. Can anyone suggest an exhaust/ exhaust system that ll give me a deeper/ throatier sound similar to a v8. I've heard sido dumped before the rear axle can be good. Any suggestions? I'm looking for somethin relatively inexpensive as far as exhausts go with a good sound. An yes I'm aware its a v6 not a v8 so spare the get a bigger truck comments...someday when money allows I will. Thanks for ur advice!

That such exhaust doesn't exist. Keep it stock.

The 4.2 isn't going to produce a deep aggressive sound with any muffler.

In high school I had a 01 4.2. I ran a Dynomax bullet muffler dumped before the axle. I thought it sounded ok for a V6.

I just swapped out my muffler for Flowmaster 40 series and it sounds pretty good to me. Not too loud but has a little rumble. Definitely not a V8 though.

My dads 4.0 ranger has a dynomax single exhaust cat-back. Sounds good.

Sido or siso for better tone? I've looked at cherry bomb extremes and flowmaster 40 's.

Some people want exhaust on their V6, it IS their truck. It IS their choice.
