Issue or not an issue?
The biggest problem is that I spent 3 times that and ended up with.... this. Seriously considering buying some pipe and several 45 degree angles from Auto Zone, and a Magnaflow X pipe, and piecing it together the way I want it. At least I know it will be done right and the way I want it. Its nice having some friends that can weld better than this guy ^^^
From the looks of it, they went to a parts store and bought the pipe and bends there and just pieced em wherever the **** they wanted to. And looks like in some cases where the pipe wouldn't fit, they bent it with a hammer. You should seriously contact the better business bureau and smash them! They shouldn't be allowed to do work like that a rob their customers!
Nah man. I was referring to the guy that did the original work
Haha. Hi. Had them re-pipe the loop over the axle. Definitely fitting better now and no more clearance problems. As for the X pipe I may just have one added later on down the road. At a different shop of course.
I'm sorry you had so much trouble, man. Getting crappy work sucks anytime; much less, when you're really excited about the outcome being great...and it ain't.
If you still aren't satisfied with ANY part of their work, MAKE them make it right or MAKE them give you your money back. You're the customer. Be assertive. If your local news has a segment dedicated to exposing shams like these, get them involved. Be the squeaky wheel.
Let us know how it turns out. Again, I'm sorry for your troubles, and I hope it all works out.

Brutal!
I have seen some seriously shoddy exhaust work done.. It is sad really.
Check out this shoddy work a shop local to me did.

They welded the inlet of the tip shut, then drilled a hole in the side of the tip to run the piping through.

There were 5- 90° bends in a 3ish foot section for the pipe that exits on the drivers side.
Performance Brake and Muffler in Oakdale, CA did that hack job.
They also did the exhaust on my uncle's F150 (he went there against my recommendation) and his tips are uneven heights and also rattle/vibrate like no other.
Bottom line- There are a lot of hack job shops that I wouldn't even let them check the air pressure in my tires.
