New Dynomax Bullet SISO 2.5" System Installed
Thanks to all the posts on this forum, I decided to replace my stock exhaust system. I bought a 2.5"x12" Dynomax Bullet and a 2.5"x3.5"x12" stainless tip from Jegs. I also bought a 4' section of 2.5" pipe from them because the stock muffler is so much longer than the Bullet.
I took the parts to a local shop and had them welded in. This exhaust sounds great! Its a very deep, mellow exhaust note and it looks great IMO. I like the 'stockish' look of the factory exit location but the addition of a nice stainless tip. I can't imagine have a setup louder than this...its loud enough that you really hear it rumble on acceleration but while cruising 45-55mph you can hear it, but it's not obnoxious....perfect for my tastes. I put on 30-40k miles per year so I don't want a system I'm going to get sick of because its too loud.
And for those interested, I paid $85 for the parts shipped to my door and I gave the exhaust shop $60 to put them all on...a bit high, but he did an excellent job with his welds.
