I got a bird stuck under my hood! Please help

Hi guys, I'm having troubles diagnosing a chirping noise coming from my passenger side wheel well. Starts chirping in gear under load, gets more frequent when accelerating. At WOT is seems to disappear. It sounds a lot like an exhaust leak but I have inspected it thoughouly and no leaks. Also I know its not the belt or pulleys. Anything I'm over looking? It is soo annoying and want to get this fixed. I never thought it would be so hard to find the problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you hear the chirping while sitting at red light, or only when moving?
Does frequency or pitch of chirp vary with speed?
What engine/drive train do you have? 4wd, or 2wd? How many miles?
How did you rule out belt squeal?

Lacking any other info, I'm betting on water pump going south.

I checked torque on all my plugs, all ok. Took off my serp belt and ran engine, noise still there. I got a 4X4 5.4L. Difenately sounds like exhaust i think. I mostly here the noise idling in gear, it also gets louder as I accelerate. When I floor it it seems to go away. Might just be drowned out but not as noticable. I'm stumped.

You prob have a tiny exhaust leak same thing happened on mine and would sound like a belt squeal at certain times do to the expansion of the pipe at different temperatures

I had a leaking exhaust manifold on my old truck that did what you're describing

well found the problem! Pinhole leak from the head gasket. Not happy! Did a farmers repair on it with JB weld. I hate doing stuff like that but I really don't feel like doing head gaskets. Cheap fix and is holding so far. Thanks for the help!
