I have the Roush cold air itake and supercharger kit on my 2008 F-150, 5.4L engine.
I am looking for a source for the air filter element. I know they are available from Troyer, but wonder if there is a Wix or NAPA equivalent that is available over the counter?

The filter is 14"x12"x1.5", folded paper bound by red rubbery borders, and reinforced on one side by wire mesh. I'll attached a picture shortly.

Just noticed that the forum does not allow attached pics... I did notice some numbers along one side of the filter element: 6L3 U96 01AA.
Does this sound like any kind of part number?

Apparently there is no OTC replacement or equivalent. Roush must have a sole-supplier contract with the manufacturer, whoever that is. Some company in China most likely.

I ordered today from Troyer...same price as Roush, and a pretty nice guy - at least in my experience anyhow.

Price is $59.95 plus shipping. Must be some gold embedded in that filter somewhere! Good thing I only need one per year.
