To be honest, I haven't noticed the exhaust note of the new trucks -- I'll have to pay attention over the next few days as I'm driving around. The only stock exhaust I've ever liked the sound of has been on V8 Dakotas -- otherwise they've all been too quiet for my taste.....

Same here, the 5.0's and 6.2's sound more like stock hemi's to me in terms of volume.

I test drove a Hemi and a Titan back to back in 2005. The Titan had a more aggressive exhaust note than the Hemi. I ended up buying a Titan Crew Cab. My 5.0L has a much throatier (interior) exhaust note than my 2005 Titan.

Just normal driving it is quiet, but when you get on it, it starts to sing. Not as loud as you might like it but definitely very noticable and a nice, throaty sound for a stock muffler.
