Muffler help!

I am trying to get a loud but not extremely loud sound but for as cheap as I can. I have a stock 2001 F150 with the 5.4. I am thinking about getting a dynomax bullet. Im pretty sure i would need a 2.5 inch inlet. I guess I am just curious if just adding a bullet muffler would make it a louder and strong sound alone. I guess im just wondering if this would forsure fit and everything else needed to make it work.

Bullets are cheap and effective. Just add a 3.5"x18" tip to help it echo and you should be set.

we put just a plain summit 2 chamber special (flowmaster knockoff) on my friends. i think he spent like 35 bucks shipped. sounds pretty good even without a tip its louder and deeper than my saleen exhaust. i'm not sure you can get any cheaper than that...

But for $15 more dollars you can have a non-generic sounding exhaust.

he asked for the cheapest way... personally i dont like the sound of borla, magnaflow, dynomax, etc on these mod motors unless you have a long run between it and the tip. but thats just my opinion.. Now any of the exhaust above on the old pushrod motors SWEEETTT!!! all comes down to what you like personally you will be the one listening to it all the time....
