don't try to justify buying shorties. There is zero gain. The stock cats are the restriction so any modification between the cat and engine is going to make zero difference. Buy the long tubes. Put your purse down. Pick up your tools and get it done.

It is a PITA to do with the motor in the truck and you will hate yourself for putting in that much work for zero gain.
if i were to put long tubes on my truck Im thinking my truck would be insanely loud! i only have 12" bullets on my truck, everybody that does LTs here gets different mufflers and i don't want to buy new mufflers, LTs, high flow cats, and get my tune redone, unless I'm wrong which i very well could be
