Single hi flow cat addition

I just installed obx lts with resonators on my truck, no cats. I like the performance gains and sound that that produced but don't like the smell. I don't really want to cut up the brand new stainless to install cats so I was thinking about getting a hi flow and putting it after the y pipe. Would a single hi flow get rid of the smell? Would having only 1 cat versus 2 restrict the flow too much and make me lose the peppyness the lts have given me?

Yep, you might just end up with better torque doing so.

The smell of raw exhaust. I don't smell it in the cab, but if I'm outside the truck and its running, its pretty bad.

Yea, the converter should knock that down a bit.

Mine doesn't smell that bad. Are you tuned for no cats?
