New exhaust on the way..

Yup, ordered my new Borla Pro XS.. si/do.. should be here tomorrow, now i need to pick out some new exhaust tips. Going to exit both on the passenger side after the rear tire, similar to a H.D. edition... can't wait!

Thanks guys! Migdaddy, you and Avfrog are to blame, lol! I still have all four cats, don't plan on swapping those out. The magnaflow sounds good, just looking for a little more sound at full thottle..I am curious how much difference there will be at cruising speed, as I take trips of 10+ hours 7-8 times a year.

Then he will have less sound at full throttle, not more. It will be quieter all the way around. A Si/do Pro XS is an 18" muffler only.

Avfrog, i think that will be ok... sometimes on the 10 hour trips, the Maggy gets a little noisy to me at certain rpms...i am excited. Plus, i recently had to have my fuel pump replaced, and they removed the bed to do it. Now, the bed is not ligned up exactly in the back, so my exhaust tips are not even.. i tried but can't get the bed even in the back, so this way i can at least re-work the tips and fix it.

If the bed's not aligned right, you should get that fixed instead of playing with the exhuast imo.

Yeah, i took it back to the shop that did the work, they did shift it some, but said they can't get it lined up perfectly. I live in an apartment and am very limited with what i can get away with as far as working on it. Hopefully, we will be buying a house soon, then i can see if i can get it lined up.
