Magnaflow cat question

I'm getting true duals with high flow cats, x-pipe, and oval mufflers (all Magnaflow) and 2.5" piping. I have a 2006 with the 5.4 V8 (2 cat setup, no precats) I know people on here have the 94106 magnaflow cats. Does anybody know about the 94136 cats? Looking at them on Magnaflow's website, the 94106 and 94136 cats look identical except the 94136 have an O2 sensor mount in them. Wouldn't it be better for me to get the 94136 cats since the O2 sensors are mounted in the body of the stock cats? It seems like the 94136 would be closer to the stock setup and less likely to cause a CEL code. Any input appreciated

I would just get them, my shop made the 94106 cats have the bungs in them. Haven't had a problem in over 1.5 years since I got them. Had one cat code and I think it is related to the coil I had go bad cause nothing since

I'm definitely leaning towards getting the 94136 with the O2 mount. Anybody know of a reason not to?

Some said apparently you could get a CEL, honestly, I wouldn't worry about it. You take a risk of getting one with any cat work, but usually if the welds are good, no issues occur

I would think there's just as much risk with putting the O2 right after the cat. I think I'm just going to go for it unless somebody has a good reason to get the 94106 instead

How much cheaper? I figured the 94136 would be a little more, but is it significant?

I tried clubgp a few days ago. It says it's no longer valid. I know they have the lowest prices on magnaflow stuff. The 94106 cats were $55 each last time i checked which was a few months ago

Like I said before, my O2's ARE NOT after the cat... they are mounted in the cat exactly like the 94136's. No issues, I'd spend the extra and get them.

94136 is only $6 more than 94106, so I'm going with the 94136 with the O2 mount
