So i decided to go ahead and do the gots mod on my 2000 5.4. I had a few hours to kill and had been reading about it so i said why not ill try my hand at shaping pvc.

I went down and bought the parts (a whole wopping $11.93) and after maybe 45 mins of work total it was done.

Now...was it a super change? No

But for 12 bucks and less then an hours work it was definately a nice change.

I can honest feel a slight change in my throttle response. It is a little more quick to respond and i do like it. Ill keep an eye on my milage tho to see if its a change in mpg. Heres hoping

And yes i do recommend others do this simple mod.

 

Cool! Did mine last year and noticed the throttle change as well. Neat mod for under $12.
