99 4.6 what size is the stock pipe going into the muffler
I want to order a flowmaster and need to know what size inlet. To order. And. Can I get away with dual 2.5 inch pipes. Coming off the muffler with the 4.6

My '01 5.4L had 2.5" pipe. A single inlet (SI) 2.5" and a dual outlet (DO) 2.25" muffler would work well. A straight through muffler would give a little better performance than Flowmaster. A good sight for Borla mufflers is Wicked Nicky's. You should check it out.
