Best Exhaust Set up for 302 V8 on a 93

Hey guys so i just got my 93 F150, its got the 5.0 302 v8 and the pipe is cut off right before where the muffler was. so i want to pipe it obviously and would like some insight on what you guys think sounds the best and isnt complicated. see im not exactly loaded with cash so something thats on the cheaper side would have to do. i have heard glass packs and they sound pretty good, but just leave a response with your opinions on what you think would be the best bang for your buck.

X2 bullet. Dual tips will have a little more rumble to it.

i think itll depend on wat kind of sound hes looking for. if he wants a cackling, wicked sounding exhaust, go with a glasspack or magnapack. if ya want somethin smoother, less drone but still has noise to back it up, go with magnaflow. bullets are technically glasspacks since they have fiberglass. oh btw, if ya want glasspacks loud quicl, get em real hot, stick a hose in the exhaust. the cold water will crack the hot fiberglass so that way ya dont gotta wait for it to blow out

but the construction is basically the same as a glasspack. im not exactly sure if they use stainless mesh or fiberglass for sound deadening material

Stainless and rock wool. Borla uses 100% stainless.

Some people should not give exhaust advice until they know what they are talking about.

Now....

A bullet and Magnapack are far superior to a glasspack..

Glasspacks like the "Cherry Bomb" tend to be louvered...

So lets say you install a 2-1/2" CHerry bomb glass pack on your truck...

You've just restricted your flow down to a pipe size of 2-1/4" because of the louver's...

The louver's are designed to restrict and deaden sound, but in the process, slow the exhaust flow..

A magnack or bullet is a perforrated design...There is nothing in the path of
flow...

The perforations absorb the sound.... Instead of a louver virtually "scooping" the gas which causing disturbances, and loss of veolocity.

Glasspacks are quieter and scratchy....

Perforated race mufflers sound deeper and less ricey..

I'm a fan of the 6-7" rounds from magnaflow..

Dynomax Race Bullet!!!

Those trucks are quiet with the huge factory cat on them. If you don't have emissions testing, I would honestly ditch the cat and then go with a Magnapack or bullet.
