This has taken too long to do but I've been slammed. Sorry the video isn't much or probably doesn't give a good idea of the sound. I have another video but I've got to edit it some.

This is Borla Pro XS Muffler (3in center dual 2.5 out) with SS pipes in 2.5 diameter to 4in tips on a 09 5.4.

Impressions:

At first I thought the exhaust was too loud and too much resonance. After having it for about a week I think it's just about right. Still more than I'd like at lower RPMs but I will say that when you punch it your pants will get tight.

Sounds great! I'm hopefully getting mine installed Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm waiting for my tips to come in. Can you do me a favor if its not too much trouble? Can you take a picture of where they routed the driver side pipe over the rear axle? I have a bunch of wires/lines between my axle and the body and wanted to see if you have the same ones and how they routed to avoid them. Thanks!

Sounds great! That's the exact muffler i want... right now i have a Magnaflow 14"..looking to redo mine to have both tips exit on the same side, passenger side, behind the rear wheel, similar to a H.D. edition.

It wasn't me. So either it was like that already or the shop did it. I'm willing to bet it was like that already.

 

The most drone you'll notice is in the lower RPMs with the foot on the gas. When I first had it installed I was worried that it was just too loud and the drone was going to drown out anyone sitting in the back seat talking. Now almost two weeks later it's almost as though it has broke in and it's not nearly as noticeable.

I'm going to get the other video up tomorrow. It's a long (boring) ride with the camera inside the truck both in the front seat and back seat.
