O2 sensor

O2 sensor

Looking into putting duals on my 04 f150 my o2 sensor is located behind my cats guy at the muffler shop said this would cause my truck to code something. Wanting to find a way arround makeing my check engine light come on. Any ways to fix this.

Your exhaust buddy is an idiot.

You can run duals on your truck with the stock cats and sensors in place, and you will NOT throw a code. If it isn't loud enough, then you can replace the stock cats with magnaflow high flow cats and still not throw a code. That is if the shop puts the o2 bungs in the right spot.

also wanted to know if you have had any hassle from law enforcement about noise. i live in missouri and dont know what the law is if any.

If you want duals you got to pay! You can go Si/so and save big bucks. Just replace your stock muffler with a dynomax bullet. That is about as cheap as you can get.
