Cause it's alot of work putting headers on a 04/08 trucks lol. So I'm just buying the best set of headers I can get that will outlast the truck. I will be also buying the 8 grade header bolts. If my tranny fails it will get replaced with a better one. I kinda want to jack a 6 speed off a 2010. Wonder if it would fit. Lol. Sorry going off topic.
I've put OBX headers 2 of those trucks already. I was one of the first to put them on an f150. Search a few years back and take a look at the opinions on them back then and look now. If you want another brand then go for it. All the power to you. That is what makes these forums great. Different people trying different things and sharing their experiences along the way.

on my 2000 yes. On one 2005 yes. On the other 2005 no because they sent 2wd headers instead of the 4wd ones.

With all the quirks I have with mine other than how they bolted up to the heads and sealed, I'd have gone with Dynatech if money was no object. The Dynatech is a far better and superior kit in every aspect, and in all honestly you can't compare the two because they are quite different.

Right, - my LT's went on in 2007, -haven't had a problem. Welded my system solid since it's 100% slip fit. I used the cheaper Pacesetters.

Not that anyone cares but I went dynatech and would do it again. Ive had cheap headers on vehicles in the past and will not do it again.

I have DynaTechs. They are ceramic coated and i love em. Picked them up used for $500. Couldn't tell they had ever been used. Very thick and a high quality product. I don't think you can get any better. They also stand up to my 1400-1500 degree exhaust temps.
