Summit Racing Prices

Just wondering if anyone noticed the pretty steep price jump in the Summit Racing prices for Borla Pro XS - 40349. I've been researching for the past month or so and they were always $99.95 for that muffler. Now its listed at $216.99. Thats quite a hike! Any idea what happened?

Thanks. I had actually seen that link and they have the muffler I was looking at for $119. There was another site that had it for $99.95 still. I was just curious why the sudden jump, significant jump, by summit. They're usually one of the places to beat.

I just ordered my exhaust from them. It is the MBRP XP series single side exit 409 Stainless. I called them and they gave me a price of $318.99. They did charge me $12 shipping, but the cheapest that I could find that exhaust was around $400. I thought they were pricing me the galvanized exhaust, but I did in fact get the 409 Stainless and it is on the way..........

you sure you're looking at the EXACT muffler, configurations and all? and summit price matches so if you still wanted to buy from there just find somewhere else that's got a cheaper price.

^ I just assume give my money to the place that voluntary offers you a lower price.

Yes I am. It's the Borla Pro XS 40349, 3" in, 2.5" dual out. Literally 2 weeks ago it was right around $100 through summit. I was considering both it and the magnaflow 12198 which was $7 cheaper at $92.70. I was just wondering why this muffler all of a sudden is 2.5 times as expensive from the same site.
