DIY Intake mod before tune?? VMP question
My buddy wants to do the DVM or w/e mad to his 05.. or maybe 06?? 5.4l and also wants VMP tunes. Hes got a bullet exhaust dual exit now. Will he having problems doing to DIY firs then ordering the SCT. Also if you order custom tunes from justin does he ships them the x3 with the custom tunes on it? and about how long does it usually take? I saw theres an option of getting the canned tunes on there as well so it must come with customs so I guess my qeustion is estimated time?? Thanks fellas

Shouldn't have any issues....
The sf3 has the canned tunes...
The xcal3 doesn't have canned tunes....
Lead times will vary depending on your location....

About doing the intake mod, it would not mess up your pre mod tune. I remember seeing a post by Bill from PHP and someone asked if he needs to know about the mod for his tuning and he said not really, but it would be nice to know what the truck has. I am taking my K&N 77 series intake off tomorrow and selling it.
