Intake manifold divider removal

Hey guys I've heard if a few people removing the divider out of the dual plane intake. Does this do anything noticeable. Seems like it would kill your bottom end torque by shortening the intake runner, but increase your top end. Anybody have and experience with this?

That divider is there to help strengthen the torque curve. Unless your racing it, leave it alone. You will also have to tune for it.
