yea i was pretty close to going with the, cause they were only like 8 bucks more than the thrush's i got. Instead i bought the 40 series copy that thrush makes, i love the sound of them on the v8's like mine.

The old pushrod engines sound good with a glass pack or a chambered muffler.
The new modular engines sound good with the flow through design thing-a-ma-jigs they call bullets. Dunno why, just how it is.

yea i will agree. granted my dads 2011 ranger is a v6, he has a dynomax single 2.5" cat back with one of those over ultra flo mufflers and it sounds damn good.

I have glasspacks on my 390 now but i hate the cheap popping sound they make at wot.

Which glasspacks do you have? For some reason in my experiences the cherry bomb glasspack will pop a lot more than any thrush.
Friend had a dakota with cherry bombs that was louder than a 4.6 triton or a 305sbc or a 5.3 chevy.
I love the popping sounds you can get on decel, but when it is constant while driving I can't stand it.

While on throttle or Wide open throttle.
I'm guessing he meant wide open since he was talking about the popping.
