4.6l help pleaseee!!

alright, here's my deal.. bought my 2010 4.6l fx2 back in October and absolutely love every single inch of it what it has to offer. now, after my drop shackles, system, rims and tints im ready for a little more performance. I want to do the gotts mod for my intake system, but dont have a whole lot of extra time and/or effort to do it. Secondly, i want to do some kind of exhaust set-up. Had a 40 series muffler on my old ram 4.7L and after a while, absolutely hated it! simply hated it. right now i love the quietness of my new ride but want a little more pep in my step.. soooo, i want some opinions on exhaust, since i hated the old setup with the ram cause of the drone and how *******ing loud and annoying it was, i want some that sounds clean, sexy, not too loud, has a nice heavy, low rumble to it when i get on the gas.. any opinions would be great. thanks in advance!!!

A 14-18 inch oval body Magnaflow sounds like it would be right up your ally.

yea if you don't want loud all the time the magnaflow would be good, or the dynomax ultra flo that looks like a flowmaster. Those have caught my interest.

Performancepeddler.com with the coupon code "clubgp". That's the best site for bottom dollar prices and free shipping.

Swapping in a muffler doesn't do anything really but alter sound..

Your truck comes with a straight through exhaust believe it or not...and is not restricing very much performance...

There are cross-section pics floating around on here somewhere...

If your looking for any pep, your going to have to spend some money on true duals and headers..

try a tuner...

I want to do the gotts mod for my intake system, but dont have a whole lot of extra time and/or effort to do it.
I beg your pardon? If you don't have time for this, you better slow the &*^@ down boy...

Im 22 and quite busy between school and work throughout the week. so what i meant was im in no hurry to start making lots of changes to my vehicle, i already love my truck as it is. as for the exhaust and intake, just looking to open it up a little bit for some good sound and maybe a little bit of a gain. going to keep everything very simple and clean if ya knowwhatimean.

SCT X3 made a big difference for me. Better performance, solid shifting. Plan on true duals next, but without the headers (for now).
