Yeah, I like the K&N for the fact that you can just rinse and reuse, not to mention it is light years better than a stock paper filter.

Don't risk MAF contamination...The one in the late models looks pretty delicate..

$12 for a new filter....Pssshhht

Just buy a new one...

Wow! this is pretty simple Just take the snorkel out. This is usually the first thing I have always done to my dirtbikes and quads, out with the snorkel. Thanks for posting.

I did reset ecm. Had battery unplugged during install and let it idle for 10 minutes or so to reset. That is what I read as how to reset it. Just checked mileage as well and didn't improve much if any. I will check the clamps to see if they need tightened. It does sound good at wot with the flowmaster exhaust but the whistle around 1700 rpm still has me confused. Almost like a turbo spooling. High pitched whistle that's not extremely loud but annoying if I don't have the radio up. Anyone else had this whistle?
