Got a code for MAF sensor and read that it's usally an easy fix by cleaning it. Pretty sure where it is but hoping to get some input here. Location, pics of the sensor or loaction?? or tips. plan using contact cleaner once it's pulled.

i'm pretty sure only 96 and up has maf, you should have speed density

 

'96 and up have MAF unless you have a transplant engine and computer. Is it sputtering or missing? You may just need to replace or check air filter, clean IAC and TB and replace O2 sensor.

 

I got a 66 code (MAF circuit below minimum voltage). I did clean the IAC but the check engine light came so I pulled the codes. It's running a little rough but not terribly bad.

 

Do you have an MAF sensor?

 

if you actually have MAF, the sensor will be right after the air fliter housing. If you have any pictures that would help us to identify that.
