Has anyone swapped to the bbk 75mm throttle body? Thoughts on it?

Won't do anything for you unless you're supercharged

You might want to reconsider the Granatelli COPs. While they may deliver on their horsepower claims (not disputing that) they are poor quality replacements to the stock units. Do some research in the forums. I had my first one go out within a year. Others have reported multiple failures before they threw in the towel and went back to stock. It's not fun to have a COP crap out in the middle of nowhere. Don't ask me how I know that.

I wouldn't, unless your having trouble with your currant set. Seems like when you start messing with the coils, it may be difficult to purchase 8 good ones in a row, -no matter who you get them from.

I have a BBk 80 mm tb on my 5.4 in 2005 F150 and it works great, not a huge improvement down low, but i noticed it in the mid-top end. Only thing to note, make sure you get the throttle return spring to sit correctly. Thank god for fail safe mode. After 200 miles and playing around a little bit my truck went into fail safe mode right next to a Kragen. I was lucky to have my flash paq with me. Plugged it in found out my truck was stuck at w.o.t. Bought a 5 dollar tool set and a torx bit pulled it apart in the parking lot. Put it back together, making sure the spring was seated correctly. Now over 1500 miles no issues. To bad my truck only gets driven 2 weeks every 6 months or so. Even made a few runs at the 1/8 mile track, when I was home. Unfortunately this land yacht doesn't start pulling decently until the end of the 1/8th.

Yea, MSD has coils for the 5fours, two valve anyway and coil packs for the older 4.6L's. Not sure if they have them for the 3V's. I have bad luck w/Motorcraft coils, good luck with Global Automotive sets.

It's like shootin dice nowadays. But, I haven't heard one bad thing about MSD's. Not to many people I know use them, -their coil packs are common and liked. I'm not sure about their COP sets.
