Newbie 98 Expy Question

Whats up guys? I'm new to the forum so please cut me some slack lol. I have a quick question. I have a 98 2WD expedition and want to remove the pre-cats. I have already replaced the rear cats with some magnaflow high flows but I was wondering if I could completely remove the pre-cats without running a CEL like you can on the 97-04 F-150's (or so I've heard you can).

Thanks and greetings to all.

Remove the pre-cats and place the hi-flows directly where the pre-cats used to be. Then move your secondary o2 sensors directly behind the hi-flow cats.
