and the winner is......lol...well NOT quite but close.

1st) Magnaflow catback
......didn't like it so

2) Thrush catback (1 in 2 out)
.....didn't like it so

3) Straight pipes after the Y

I was really impressed with how it sounded. Nice deep tones with a heafty rumble instead of that tin can sound you hear from some rigs.

PS- I kept my Thrush sticker on the window though. Its just too cool to take off };->

3" PA going on it AS I TYPE THIS

You asked so...

I really don't like it. I just don't like the straight pipe sound. Sorry. Too much crack and pop and such. I prefer a more deep "tuned" tone, if that makes any sense.

^^ditto. Put a magnapack or a bullet on there and youll have the same volume but a nice deep toned sound.

To those that like the sound..thanks!
To the naysayers...thanks! haha... no worries.

I realize there were other options than going with straight but I guess I didn't take the time to investigate further and/or want to put any more money into it as I thought and still think it sounds K just the way it is.

Opinions don't offend me...you're right, I asked for it ;-)

My next goal is to get bigger tires and wider rims. Maybe at some point I'll fiddle with the exhaust again but for now, I actually do like it especially over the magnaflow, flowmaster and thrush (I forgot to mention that I had them hold up the thrush and flowmaster to do a comparison before I had anything welded.

I will confess though that it would be nice to eliminate some of the B-firing.
