Sorry, I missed this somehow.... No welds, they just helped align the pipes a bit.

@firetruck41, keep us posted I'd like to know what you think of it.

I still intend to post pics and video once I get a day of decent weather which is hopefully before spring.

I purchased a aero-turbine resonator #AR30. found one ebay for $25. if the mbrp is too agressive i will install it. keep me informed anyway.

installed today #S5210409 very good sound, maybe one of the best i've heard. the sound at idle is the best out there. highway cruising gets a b+. although satisfied, honestly it needs to be toned down a few decibles. i think the resonator will tone it down and make it perfect for me. i will install the resonator (AR30) next week. mbrp says it takes about 150 miles to adapt to ECU. my truck usually takes about 300 miles. I will wait til the muffler breaks in. then i will decide on the resonator. it just sounds dam good.if there is drone, it's in the lower speeds.

still to agressive sound in town at lower speeds. the more i drive the louder it gets. i'm going to insert the flowmaster #53070. that should tone the exhaust down some. this exhaust causes my trans to struggle to down shift and it's audible in the cab. not good.
