Square vs Round Tip

I am thinking I'm going to pull my exhaust and completely paint the pipes this winter. I also am wanting to cut it and dump it under the truck. In this case I have been thinking of getting new tips, and just wondering what the tone difference is between square and round tips.

No real tone difference in shape, length causes the tone difference.

Okay, no difference noted. What kind of difference does the length make?

Stay away from these. They have sounded like crap on everything that I have heard them on. Way too gurgley. The longer and larger diameter tips will provide you with a deeper more echo sound.
