Right now I have a si/so dynomax bullet on my 2001 4.6 screw. I am already getting bored with it and want to switch it up a little. Right now my plan is two magnaflow high flow cats two dynomax bullits and two magnaflow rolled tips 45ed out the back. I decided that I want a x pipe and everyone says to put it as far up as possible so Ill do that. How do you guys think this will sound the only other mod is the gotts mod and silencer removed. Also I have a few questions.
Should I get 2.25 inch pipeing or 2.5 could sombody please tell me the pros and cons on each?
How much power and torque will this set up add since I wont be getting headers anytime soon?
Will this increase mpg and if it will how much if any?
Would it be cheaper if I supplied the piping to and have them bend it or just let them use theirs and bend theirs?
If you guys dont mind me asking how much was installation for your true duals?
Is mandrel bent piping better?
Which magnaflow hi flows are the ones that everyone use on here?
Have you guys had any luck selling your stock cats Ive been trying to figure out a price but I am clueless?

2.5 will sound better and perform better in the mid-high RPM range, where as 2.25 will give you MAX low RPM torque.

Will the 2.5 inch piping rob any power from the low end? Also I went in to a shop to get a quote and they said 400 dollars for labor and aluminized steel piping since I have everything else so Im going to try some other places because that sounds ridiculous.

 

You will lose some low end with 2.5" yes. That is why I said 2.25" for max low end.
