exhausted!

Well I had an exhaust setup put on today on my 03 supercrew. 18" maggie 3" inlet 3" outlet si/so. I had an 18" maggie on my 98 it was a si/do. I'm very disappointed with this setup I thought going the 3" piping and 4" tip and exiting before the rear tire would make it comparable to the si/do system but I was wrong. This set up is sooo quiet. Is there any ways to make it louder? I was going to do a dynomax bullet but really like the smooth tone of a magnaflow. Is the bullet a comparible sound to a maggie? If so I will change to that cause I know they are louder. Thanks

Either swap out the muffler for a Bullet/Magnapack, or cut the rear cats off. Either one will increase volume.

What you need is a Magnapack muffler. A Magnaflow 14"x4" muffler similar to a bullet, but it sounds better IMO. It will have a more "tuned" sound. You will like it.

You could also just delete your rear cats...

If cut the rears off is there a way to trick the o2s? Or is a programmer needed for that? Thanks

You can do either. The programmer is more expensive. I would only mod the O2's if it throws codes. It's kind of 50/50 with the 97-03's if it will.

Either O2 eliminators for, check out Mustang parts, or the Gotts O2 mod. I don't have any experience with either.

The Gotts o2 mod is the cheapest and it works!
