for those with long tubes

I just have an intake, programmer, and cat back Y'd duals on my truck now. Just wondering how much you guys could feel after the long tubes were installed? Just wondering if its worth the swap?

Not much honestly, but with custom tune it will be more noticeable, the sound improvements alone i think are worth it

It felt alot better with long tubes and deleting my cats. You'll def. love em, even just for the sound.

what are my good options for my truck as for long tubes? I have an 04 5.4 4x4. I would want stainless and I would prob get them ceramic coated at a local business here where I live.

OBX Long Tube Headers w/resonators or high flow cats

Exactly replica of the dynatech kit but doesn't cost you 1400 bucks but a mere 500

x3 on the OBX kit with high flows or resonators. worth it(power and sound), especially after a custom tune. i could tell a difference even before tuning.

Ive got the dynatech kit, but yes definitely go with either OBX or dynatech. Best exhaust Ive had on a truck and with the tune I definitely could tell a difference.

cool, sounds like the obx would be 1st on my list then. I already have custom tunes so that would be a simple change by bill.

I heard that true duals are the best setup for long tubes. Now I have a single 3" into a single magnapak into dual 3s. If I put some obxs on my truck how would my current setup fare compared to true 2.5 duals with a magnaflow with the X in the muffler (which is what I would change it to)?

run 2.25 for best low end torque
2.5 for mid-high end
3" for forced induction

The complete exhaust was done on mine all at the same time. Dynatech LT's and cats, X and 2 40 series Flowmasters w/ 2.5" pipe. The flows are garbage as Im sure you have already read about. And from there I took the 2 flows off and replaced them with 2 Magnaflow's. Most people laugh, but I drive alot of highway out to my ranch and I really got tired of the 14" body on the flows so I went to an 18" body Maganflow. For me, my setup is perfect and the 2.5" pipe worked out fine.

how do you like that gryphon cs? Does it come with the option to read your gas levels in percentage and gallons used? Or did that feature not come for the f150's with the cs/cts?
