What do YOU really want?
The cheapest and most affordable way to get the best sound is to cut out the stock 55 gallon drum muffler.
Then install a short flow through type muffler along with an extended piece of pipe to compensate for the void of removing the stock muffler.
On the tail pipe cut it back and throw on a 3.5x12 or 3.5x18 tip and it'll be done.

Another note>>YouTube videos on exhaust suck.
It's not because everyone whose posting on there thinks they are a cinema camera operator. It's the equipment they use to record the sound and its also the equipment that you use to listen to it.

Go find an example in person.

Cross-overs are only for true duals, so you don't have to worry about them on a SIDO configuration.

I have Gibson headers,Super Truck exhaust,Iceman intake with a Tornado installed in the intake just before the throttle body. Jet tuner chip, MSD 8.8 wires and MSD coils. The only thing that i see is in the winter when the air is cold and dense i seem to be running a little lean.I pulled a few plugs in the winter and they were very white, oh i am running Denso Iridium plugs also.
In the winter i kept having to replace the motorcraft platinums because one kept blowing out from the lean condition.45,000 mi. on the Densos and no problems so far.

Yer running premium fuel, right?

Those MC plugs are trying to tell you something.....if they are the correct heat range for the application, that should never happen.

WTF is Jbrew when ya need him?

with all those blistering performance "mods" Randy taylor has on his truck, I'm suprised he doesn't rocket fuel to keep it from running lean

Absolutely not.

Exactly.

If you think a Flowmaster kills your HP, then you say to throw in a crossover, which for one doesn't make exhaust gas'es exit faster...
