I rank Gibson lower than Flowmaster. Their kits are extremely low quality and mufflers are world class garbage. Almost everything else is a better option than Gibson.

 

every magnaflow kit ive heard on a 5.4 has that nasty poping sound when you let off the gas, and my opinion its just not deep. as far as flows go, i havent heard YET some flowmasters that sound good on the 3v 5.4 i wanna go for more of a deep low rumble not something raspy and poping.

 

God knows your aren't going to get that out of a Gibson muffler. Magnaflow's are deeper than Slowmaster's, but you have to find the right one. Not every Maggy sounds the exact same, unlike FM.

 

everyone has their taste in sound and the sound on the video above is what im going for everything else ive heard for 5.4 are nasty

OOOF!! lol! when i saw the video i laughed! that so loud! id love to have that and **** people off. nice!

 

The above vids are true dual with the x pipe as close to the motor as possible with a magnaflow part #11379 4"x9" oval dual in/out non internal x pipe muffler. No popping at all

 

Its not as loud as you think plus my motor is not stock its a 5.4 3v with sct tuner, jlt intake, magnaflow exhaust, troyer efans, and Ford racing hot rod cams. What does OOOF! mean lol

 

i liked the ford racing better, but that last link sounded good with that cam.

 

I'm recording with my Droid phone its not picking the sounds up at all so what did you mean you laughed and what does OOF! mean a bad thing? Lol

 

"OOOF" is a good thing, sorry its a habbit me and my buds have. only performed when something is good. no worries just keep disturbing the peace with that beast

 

Ok lol I was just curious and honestly its not that loud in person
