How does it sound? Can you feel more power? I was thinking of changing my exhuast set up two true dual set up.

Yes 14" Maggies and 2.25" Pipe. I wanted to get rid of the Y and just have straight pipe. SS tips.

The sound is great you can hear it if you get on it and no noise while cruising. Not sure on any power increase. I have only drove the truck back to the house since installed and it's sitting in the garage now on this nasty rainy day in Pensacola, FL.

Where they cut the y-pipe and made them straight back separately, if they installed an x - pipe and then continued individual pipes off that you would get much better low end power, and better sound.

Without the x-pipe your missing out, lol!

Well I can always go back and have them add it. I will call and see if they keep them in stock or order one online.

Is that the best place to put it right where the Y was?

Yep. As close to the front as possible.

Yer shop should have advised you on the X-pipe. No mandrel bends either, I see.

What's the shop's name & location, so others will know whom to avoid.

Looks great man. I have a feeling it sounds a lot better than stock and will give you a more responsive feel. Well done!

Order an X pipe and have them throw it in. X pipes sounds awesome, and will help your torque curve as well.

You can pick up a good stainless X off of ebay or you pick up a Magnaflow X from PP with the code "clubgp".

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/T304-...Q5fCarQ5fParts

http://www.performancepeddler.com/de...CT_ID=MAG10791

I wanted all Magnaflow parts on mine, so I went with the expensive one.
