Throttle body spacer.
The failure that gets some of you guys in trouble is you don't explain yourself well enough.
Like.......
What year truck are you putting it on and is the truck fuel injected?
There's a lot more one should provide when asking about something.
Because.......
All of our crystal ***** are broken.
If your motor had a carb on it it would matter but since its fuel injected it just won't help out.

A ~4000% profit margin is nothing to sneeze at ....

So I take it no one trust that they say it will help with torque at 800-2500RPM range?
Possibly for a throttle-body injected or carb'd engine, when plenum volume can sometimes be optimized to help - but here again, the gains claimed are usually inflated.

NOT on a port-injected engine - the plenum & runners are already optimally designed/sized for torque (or should be, lol)

What's your thought on Air Charger kits? The one on my truck seems to help but some people say they don't... K&N says on my truck I should see almost 16 more horsepower.
So should I not even waste my time putting mine on? Like I said it was only $5 from a friend who sold his truck and took all his stuff off...

On K&N's - again, inflated claims. Least trustworthy is the manufacturer's assertions. Seek out independent, expert info - call the custom tuners on here - they have actually tested these (as has Diablo and Superchips, btw).
If you want to save money, preserve yer IAT's and help a bit, just do the Gotts Mod. Or just leave it on there and ensure you never over-oil it. Clean yer MAF regularly as well. Do not fixate on it too much - but be aware that you may incur lean conditions with that intake... if you have a 5.4 3V ...

Don't believe everything you read!
Your lucky if your K&N is giving you 3HP.
