Use the search bar here.

Pacesetters
OBX
Dyna tech

Search this forum, - all kinds of info. Also, you may have to order some for a 99. There all the same, -it's just that most manufacturers don't list the 97,98 for some reason. The exhaust ports are all identical for the two valves.

since we can see thru the internet at your truck and we can tell which engine you have, I figure you can look thru the internet at what we have

(basically, we can't help you if you aren't willing to help us help you after you've used the search feature)

Are the OBX Long Tubes easier to install than the Pacesetters?

tarajerame seems to think so. im not sure. ps's are cheaper i believe. i had to beat the **** out of one of my primaries on the drivers side (can't remember which one) 3rd primary i think? because i couldn't even slide the bolt in cause the primary was at such a sharp angle. i don't know if thats ez to understand the way i put it. They do the job but that might be why they were so cheap. They might should put a label on them (may require some massaging) lol. So you might wanna try the obx if you can afford it

i dont know what happend with yours but mine when on just fine. as well as my buddys in his 97 expy. we had a new motor in and had the headers bolted on in under 2 hours

Think you just got the wrong set or somthing i rember you havin all kinds of trouble.

Pacesetter= made in USA but carbon steel 16GA.

OBX= made in china Stainless steel but have heard the welds on colltors crack.

Dynatech= made in USA stainless steel but VERY VERY expensive

i went pacesetters and painted them with high temp paint and called it a day.

^ Ah... If I ever get LT, I'll be doing that. I wonder how long that high temp paint will last.

this is what i got. same color and everything. 2 cans did the set. and i have half a can left over

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/VHT-SP106/

because i didnt cure mine right the primarys have some rust on them but both collectors still look like fresh paint. the salt and snow and rain of Michigan have done a number on the primarys.
