? about tip size and sound

OK as almost everyone knows I'm getting ready to do my true duals with x pipe and borla xr1 mufflers I'm about to order tips. My question is I'm running 2.5" pipe if I go with a tip that's 3" diameter outlet is it going to sound different than say a 3.5" or 4" outlet or will the tips make a difference.

In general, the longer and larger diameter the tips, the deeper the sound. I would suggest 3.5x18.

A double wall will be stronger, but I don't think that it is a necessity. If your going 45ed then it wouldn't be a bad idea. Just make sure you get stainless!
