I have had banks si/so for about 9 months including last winter here in Chicago...still looks great...once in a while I just hit it with a steel wool pad to shine the tip up nice...also use it on my chrome wheels...

bought the kit from socal motorsports for $410 shipped... here is the link
mine was for a 2007 supercrew w/5 1/2 ft bed...48743 so prices vary...
summit was like $475 shipped!!!

http://www.socalmotorsports.com/products/productID/697

I love the sound...vary agressive at WOT!!!...
easy to install...closer to 90 minutes...start to finish...
I left the hangers on the oem unit and just unbolted it as 1 part from the truck
The reason I bouth it was that the tip comes welded on already and I could do install myself...vs...having a clamp on tip that just looks cheap as hell or paying someone to weld a tip on...I also bought stainless steel band clamps because the cheap exhaust clamps rust out in like 6 months then have to be cut off...

just my 2 cents

Which dealer did you get it from for 469.00, and what year is your truck? for the price its alot more interesting. I talked straight to banks just to see their pricing it was 619.00, plus shipping which is why i originally posted in here to go a cheaper route.

Thats a good price. Unfortunately banks claims the 04-08 kits dont fit the 09-10 trucks when i talked to them directly, and of course the 09-10 kits even though pretty much the same cost alot more...

Also after just looking at the socalmotorsports on ebay their rating is 53.8% OMG! How are they still on ebay? Lowest i've ever seen.

I'd say the 04-08 would fit the only difference is the cab on the 09+ is bigger so the pipe that connects to the stock y pipe and muffler would need to be longer

ill called them yesterday for thier "Saturday Deal" and was orginally quoted 592.00. Which was way more than i was willing to pay. I told them i seen the same system on another website for 488.00. So he talked to the "boss" and he quoted me 469.00 to the door. My pick-up is an '07 S-Crew w/6.5 bed.

Also don't forget that on the 04-08 Banks kit they supply a new 3" intermediate pipe that bolts directly to the factory y-pipe. Most of the other kits (including Roush and Magnaflow) bolt to your factory intermediate pipe.

Yeah but if you're still using the OEM restricted Y-pipe, it really doesn't matter.

If anybody is wanting to purchase this kit you can get it from streetsideauto.com for $408.40 shipped using the coupon code "save10". I've used them before several times.... they ship fast and have cheap prices too.
