Has anyone bought the new JLP intake or heard any reviews on it? It is just a huge filter that sits on top the motor.

 

Its called jlt intake and yes I have one and yes I like it.

 

Did you get the truck tuned after install? Any noticable power? Or drone?

 

I bought the intake straight from jlt with the sct tuner that comes with a custom tune. Yes noticeable power really no drone more of you can hear it sucking air. I had frpp hot rod cams installed last weekend and the tuner that tuned the truck said the intake was making really good power and sucking a hella lot of air.

 

Do they make one of these for the 04+ 4,6l and would I have to run custom tunes with it?
