Pacesetter Headers ?

Hello, Ihave a exhaust on the passenger side and some ticking on drivers side. I know i'm going to break (hope not) bolts or studs. Are these Pacestter Headers any good called (shorty) for $230.81 free shipping, still have stock exhaust ,,would they give me a little hp and some torque for towing? thanks alot

Yes they will give you more low end torque for sure. But you wont notice any difference in the towing unless you pair the new headers with a custom tune.

They aren't terrible headers. But they arent the best. You gotta think. You are only paying 230 bucks for a set of headers, you know you arent getting the best haha.

they do not add much power, if your looking for more power go with the long tubes, but they are almost double the price.....but if your just replacing them because you need new manifolds, the shorties will be better then stock

X2

They shift the torque curve a little, but not much. If you can pick a set of shorties up for less or equal to OE manifolds, then go for it.

Yea , I'm just wanting to replace those manifolds,,thought the headers might help get rid of some of the heat also. I'm going to try to tighten the manifolds up first to stop it from ticking. If going to long tubes ,do you leave the cats off at the front?

i say go for the long tubes. shorties arent bad though but if i bought other than lt's , they would be something like the obx mid length at least. go something with longer individual tube length to better flow.

and no, i would re-locate the front cats to the end of the long tubes and delete the rears. it fits best with something like maggie high flows 94106 that are shorter than stock.

It is hard to find pacestter headers for $230.81 and free shipping. I think it is around 250 bucks if I am not mistaken.
