Anybody know who Ford uses a supplier for catalytic converters? My truck had a p0420 code (bank 1 catalyst inefficiency), took it to the dealer because it is still under the emmissions warranty. Ordered the part Friday, JUly 9, and "expected" ship day is today, July 14. Had to call the parts guy I know to find out when it was shipping and when it would possibly get delivered. Told me it might be delivered by next Monday. My question is who does Ford get them from that it takes so long to ship and deliver? If it wasn't for the warrenty I'd have taken it to a muffler shop and had a high flow magnaflow put on and had my truck fixed by now. Sorry for the rant. Can someone shed some light on this?
