Pullin the trigger on true duals.....

So I finally decided to upgrade my hi flowed cat back SI/SO dual to a true dual but I'm just questioning the price. I think Im gonna go with X piped magnapacks but dont really know the size muffler to go with. Also is performancepeddler.com the cheapest place to get these at? And one more question, should I buy my own pipe or let the shop supply it?

^ Sounds great! 2.25"-2.5" magnapacks. 2.25" for MAX low end torque, or 2.5" for MAX mid-high horsepower. 2.5" will also sound a little better. Use code "clubgp" at the peddler for a better price. Let shop supply pipes.

Sounds good,

If you can, try to post a before and after sound clip! I know many others besides me would like to hear the rumble!

You can get STAINLESS Mandrel bent tailpipes off eBay for 189.00. Thats not a bad deal at all. Its like 30 bucks cheaper for aluminized.

I got mine done for $150 on the first stage, but I found one of the best places that does exhaust work in the state. Are you going to swap the cats out or leave them?

Well the place where I had my hi-flows installed charged me $225. I knew the price before I had them do the work and I know I got ripped off but its just so damn tedious calling all these shops and just digging through the yellowpages, plus evidently I think money grows on trees or to some extent like that.

In that case, it'll sound great. The only difference from yours and mine could be tip location and pipe size.

You'll like true duals more than SI/DO. I've had a Magnaflow catback, and now I have true duals - the td's rumble so much better

Well I'm glad to have inspired you then!

Just be sure to make some high quality videos of it whenever you get it all done.
