guttin rear cats

I am getting my exhaust soon i decided it would be better to mess with my cats before i get my exhaust im planning on taking the whole assembly out cutting the rear ones out and gutting them then welding them in place so it still looks like i have the look of 4 cats is there anything i should be worried about while doing this

Only thing I'd worry about is wasting your time. What do you hope to gain by gutting your rear cats? There's no power to be had as they flow very well.

^ Yes. You will have to do the "gott's mod", or tune it.
