i have read many threads about running lean with 04-05 with cold air intakes. i was wondering if i shouls worry about my 07 Fx4 with my roush CAI i have had it 2 months now with no problems or no signs of running lean. i will get a custom tunner eventually for the increase in power but not a big concern right now. just haven't seen many threads about 07 and up models just 04-05

 

You haven't seen them because the problem went away with the 06s. There is an occasional report from an 06 and later, of pinging, but it is rare. I would not worry about it on an 07, but would get a custom tune just as soon as possible. It will make you enjoy your truck so much more.
