Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting my 05 scab an exhaust system. I was checking out a few and the one I saw that sounded pretty good (according to the maker's video) was the Banks monster exhaust single tip. I'm just looking to get some opinions on it like is it worth it? Is it a decent exhaust? I saw the video on there site and fell in love with the sound. And autoanything.com has it for $450 with free shipping. So if ya guys can, please give me some opinions before I go spend the money on something I won't like. Thanks guys, I appreciate it!!!!!

 

i have the banks monster exhaust dual exit system i love it great sound and almost no drone in the cab. i would suggest that you check other mfg for there prices. the banks system was a little more but i would buy it again. my system is on 2009 super crew 5.4l and again check around as there are some good deals to be had.

 

Here is a link to my post on my new install on an 09 SCrew with 5.4. The fit was excellent and install went smoothly. It is louder than I expected and I still haven't got it out on the highway to see what it is like at cruising speed.

Would you say that the dual exhaust is much louder than the single? i been thinking bout putting on high flow cats and curious to know what would be better. true dual it with another muffler or high flow cats.

BUCKSHOT85 i would say its a little louder than a single its aggressive when you get on it and hardly no drone at freeway speeds and imo it looks great on the truck its that banks look as far your other questions i will have to leave that up to the experts.
