Headers

yo i have a 2006 f150 and was thinking about putting headers on it. not sure wat ones to do and how long it takes. not trying to pay a mechanic to do it unless i have to. i have cat back flowmaster super 44 exhaust and also have the edge programmer. i have 35" procomp tires and was just wondering if its worth putting headers on. I was told it take like 12 hrs and u have to unbolt left side of motor to get headers on the side is that true?

OBX stainless steel headers from sparktecmotorsports.com are probably going to be the cheapest

You will want/need a custom tune with the headers.

LT headers make a very noticeable difference, that bein said they are a pita to install and the passenger side of the motor has to be jacked up. it took me two afternoons (so about 10 hours give or take) and probably would have taken longer without the help and advice from fatherford and some of the others on this site.
