I want something laud... currently i belive I have a catback system from flowmaster 40 and i want more! i want more raw sound but i dont wana get redic i just wana hear more of the pop and crackle

I was leaning towards maybe flowmasters new 10 series anyone had any experiance with them? I know the law dont approve but I dont care a bit lol

Then tonight i chased down a mustang gt with a 4.6 that sounded exactly the way I want my truck to sound... ( while driving so I couldnt get many details) I pulled up and asked him what he had and he yelled SLP'S so anyone had any experiance with them?

And finally i want to keep my look of comming strait out the back 2 pipes PLEASE GIVE ME SUGJESTIONS!

Get the idea of your truck sounding like a Mustang out of your head, becuase its pretty much impossible for a truck. Mustangs get their unique and awesome sound from the near identical left to right bank, size/length/bends in the exhaust tubing.

If you want "LAUD", keeping the crackle and pop (not sure why you'd want the pop) then you need to keep the exhaust pipe exiting the truck (aka dumps usually eliminatethe pop).

Whatever muffler you try, go with a set of high flow cats and a tad bit larger exhaust tubing diameter. Those 2 items alone will increase sound greatly. Long tube headers would also have a large affect on the "LAUD" factor.

Add an SLP loudmouth and a Y pipe on there and remove the rear cats, if you have 4, if you want LAUD

actually if you run an H-pipe like the mustangs have, you'll get a really close sound

I'm sure the OP will love true duals with an H-pipe and SLP LM 1 "mufflers", "LAUD" and slow is the guaranteed ticket magnet

^ The length of pipe is what does it. When I had my flowmaster 40's and H pipe, and before I had tail pipes. I just had the mufflers open at the end with no dumps, and it did sound like mustang when you opened it up. Not exactly, but pretty damn close. Then once I ran tail pipes, I lost all of it.

That's what I was going to suggest. You need to step it up to true duals if you want the best sound.

The spelling in this thread is priceless. I've gotten quite a laugh out of it.
